Lakes – Lough Kinale

Lough Kinale is a freshwater lake in the midlands, it is located on the bothers of Counties Longford, Westmeath and Cavan. Lough Kinale forms part of the River Inny, the lake’s inflows is from Lough Sheelin and the out flow is to Lough Derravaragh.

The lake has a well known wildlife activity such as mute swan, pochard and tufted duck and many other wildlife.
