Established in 2002, MIDOC was formed by a group of local GPs. The service covers the areas of Laois, Longford, Offaly & Westmeath.
MIDOC is a service providing medical attention for patients with urgent medical needs and whose family doctor is part of the MIDOC Co-Op.
Appointments
MIDOC operates an appointment only service for urgent medical needs located at our treatment centres in Tullamore, Portlaoise, Mullingar, Longford and Athlone.
Fees
The fee for consultation is €70. Any person producing a valid medical card at the time of consultation will not be charged.
GP Members
You can visit any of our treatment centres if your GP is a member of the scheme. Please check first that your GP is a member.
