Áras an Mhuilinn is the Regional Resource Centre for the counties of Westmeath, Longford, Offaly, and Laois. The Centre, recently established by Comhaltas Ceoltóiri Éireann and Meitheal Lártíre, is a state-of-the-art cultural facility in which Traditional music, dance and Irish language classes are run on a weekly basis.
The new centre – Áras an Mhuilinn – will also incorporate a display area for the sale of CD’s of traditional music, books and other items representing traditional culture. Why not pop in to the on-site Café for a cupán tae, read a magazine etc or listen to some traditional music during your visit.
