From Friday 22nd November – Mullingar is turning into a spectacular place for Christmas – The Christmas Ice Rink opens on Friday 22nd and at the same time the official switch on of the Christmas Lights takes places- announcing the start of a fantastic range of festive events in Mullingar all the way to Christmas and beyond…..

It is the Only Ice Skating Rink in the Midlands – which makes Mullingar a must on your list of places to visit  this Festive Season  -for visitors from right across the Midlands.

It’s time to put on your bobble hat, wrap up warm and get your skates on!  Ice Skating is coming to Mullingar from Friday Nov 22nd to Sun Jan 12th 2020 (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays except for Dec 23rd, 24th, Dec 30th and 31st).
  All levels of experience are catered for on the rink from beginners to advance skaters.  There’s a large main rink and a separate smaller rink, which is always supervised. There’s also schools skate, student skate deals, group and midweek offers, special events and tasty festive food!

Dunnes Friars Mill Rd, Tesco, Town Mall, Train Station, Penneys Underground Carpark, Harbour Place, Cathedral, Social Services, Community Centre

The Westmeath County Council  Car Park (bottom of Mount Street/Jail Hill)   is also open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays and is recommended for “nearby” parking over the weekend – as you can link to the Skating Rink via the Town Park and to the town shopping area as it is a short walk via Mount Street.
