If you are looking for something to take up as a hobby or interest, check out the listings for Adult Painting Courses, Creative Writing Courses, Bridge Lessons, Line Dancing Classes , Jiving Classes , Irish Language Classes, Ceili and Set Dancing Classes ( yes its time to start planning for the Fleadh 2000 in Mullingar next year!), and while in this mood check out our Pub Trad sessions, 3 nights a week and of particular mention the Frank Gavigan Memorial Concert on 4th October and the Macalla na hEireann Tour in Aras an Mhuilinn on 7th October. There is also a Fleadh Fundraiser concert featuring Michael English on 8th October.
For relaxed fun and entertainment there is bingo (almost every night of the week), Greyhound racing twice a week, quiz and trivia nights twice a week, and if you would like to join in a fun singing session check out The Big Sing Thing on 4th October. For those of you who like to boogie till late – every weekend you have a choice of late night venues – Friday, Saturday and Sunday. For those fond of social dancing there is a John Hogan 3 nights event in the Annbrook House Hotel starting on 13th October – and there is social dancing events every weekend.
