Robert Troy TD
I was elected to the 31st DÌÁil in February 2011 and am the youngest member of the Fianna FÌÁil Parliamentary Party.åÊ I am the current Spokesperson for Children and Youth Affairs; having previously served as the Spokesperson for Arts and Heritage from February 2011 to July 2012.åÊ Since my election I have represented my constituents at national level and contributed to numerous DÌÁil debates, which has included highlighting the various issues brought to my attention at local level.åÊ I took a leading role in supporting the passage of the ChildrenÛªs Rights Referendum in October 2011.åÊ My charitable interests include Pieta House Suicide Awareness and LARCC Cancer Support Centre.åÊ I come from a family with a strong tradition in community and volunteer work; and have always practised strong values such as integrity, honesty and fairness.åÊ Finally, I place the wishes of the people who elected me at the top of my agenda ÛÒ and will continue to do so.
